Hello!
My name is Kyle.
I recently bought two BerryGPS and try to use it.
BerryGPS and Pi are directly connected.
I have confirmed that gps latitude longitude data comes from pi in gpsmon command. But the gps data is not coming in steadily.
If the data is interrupted once, the data may not come in later.
Why does not the data come in steadily after gps is caught?I ran the test in an environment with no obstacles in the sky.
There are many questions.
1. Do the First to Fix process wait every time I power up Pi?
2. Is BerryGPS affected by operation at sub-zero temperature?
3. Does LTE modem next to BerryGPS interfere with receiving GPS data?
(There is a phenomenon that the data is disconnected even though LTE modem is removed and tested)4. Does BerryGPS provide better reception if an external antenna is installed?
How do I get GPS data steadily?
Waiting for help.
Thanks.

Some questions
1. Do you have clear access to sky? Are you testing outside?
2. How many satellites is gpsmon showing?
3. What value are you seeing next to HDOP in gpsmon?
4. Is the switch in the “int” position?+The GPS module is certified to operate up to -40 degrees.
+When you first power on the GPS module, you will need to get a fix. If you take power away, the superCap will hold the fix information for a couple of hours. When you restart within a couple of hours, you will get a fix very quickly. However, if the power is off for longer than a few hours, you will need to start the fix process again.
+An external antenna will increase the reception greatly.Peter --OzzMaker.com --

1. Do you have clear access to sky? Are you testing outside?
Yes, I tried in clear access to sky, and outside enviroment.
2. How many satellites is gpsmon showing?
I check 2 satellites , and 0 satellites. I attatched gpsmon capture file.
3. What value are you seeing next to HDOP in gpsmon?
No value next to HDOP… I attached gpsmon capture file.
4. Is the switch in the “int” position?
Yes, switch in the int position.
Additional question.
1. If the gps is disconnected after the first connection, there is a phenomenon that can not be reconnected for a long time. If an external antenna is connected, can the reconnection time be shortened and the reception sensitivity be increased?
2. How do I connect my berry gps if I connect an external antenna? I do not know where to connect.
Can I show a linked sample picture?Thank you for your detailed advice.

An external antenna can help get a fix faster. It will also improve the signal.
In the image below, the connector for the external is the top left. It uses a uFL connector.
