Hi,
I’m using the PiScreen, and have using it successfully a couple of months back. This time, i’ve wanting to use it again and updated the rpi software using sudo rpi-update.
The light goes on, and i see the black screen.
But when i want to load the test image, the following message appears upon the screen:
“image-test.gif: loading FAILED” any idea what can be wrong? Thanks in advance.
This is my dmesg:

Are you trying to use ‘fbi’ to show the image?
maybe download it again.
What is the command line statement you are using to show the image?Mark --OzzMaker.com --
November 3, 2015 at 11:19 pm #4325DezorianParticipantThanks for the quick reply.
I just used
sudo fbi -noverbose -T 1 -a -d /dev/fb1 image-test.gif
I’ll try to download ‘fbi’ again. Is there any way to get details error messaging from fbi loading?
November 4, 2015 at 7:36 am #4327DezorianParticipantfound the problem. It does not work through tightvnc console window. Only through ssh. Got it working now! (And updated+upgraded all the packages while trying to figure it out ๐
