    Hi,

    I have had the screen successfully working, but after an apt-get update / upgrade, the screen is no longer working with X. Console output is fine, but X fails to start.

    When I run Xorg -configure, I get the following:
    No devices to configure. Configuration failed.
    Server terminated with error (2). Closing log file.

    It’s almost as if the screen is no longer being recognised as a valid display. I’ve verified that all the steps from the setup instructions are still in place, and forced rpi-config to re-run.

    Any suggestions anyone?

    Have you commented out fd0 in this file;
    sudo nano /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/99-fbturbo.conf

    Comment out the line of text below;
    Option “fbdev” “/dev/fb0”
    This can be done by adding a hash (#) at the beginning of line.
    #Option “fbdev” “/dev/fb0”

    yep ๐Ÿ™

    If it’s in the instructions page, I’ve done it, but still to no avail.
