No problem about the switch Mark.
I managed to get it all up and running. I have the console loading to the screen which works a treat. I am halfway through getting X to load to the PiScreen, I had to leave for work -.-
Just to confirm it is the square whole nearest to the "On" text on the PCB and the middle whole that need to be patched to complete the circuit. I just used a small piece of wire and soldered it across the wholes. They are so close together you could probably just use solder to connect the wholes if you wanted to.

I purchased the PiScreen Kit through Tindie, unfortunately I could not find a switch in the packaging that was shipped. I will follow up with Tindie about the switch as this is probably not your issue.
My question is: it appears to be a simple 3 pin switch, can I just solder a piece of wire between the On & middle pin on the PCB to get the PiScreen to work? When I get a chance I'll pop to the local electronics store and get a replacement 3 pin switch.
In the meantime, are there any side effects to the PiScreen always being on other than power consumption?
