I figured it out! I was looking on the "technical side" of your website but, the CAD files are associated with the downloads tab on the "shop side" of the website. This also reminded me of where I found the CAD files for the BerryGPS-IMU v3 π

June 17, 2021 at 7:14 am #16772jimbParticipantdid you go through the steps in the guide How to Enable i2c on the Raspberry Pi (https://ozzmaker.com/i2c/) ?Β - I found that this step helped me in that it installs all the libraries etc to make the i2c work....
January 27, 2021 at 4:50 am #16539jimbParticipantThanks for the follow up... here are a couple of photos of the work in progress...
Should I consider jumping from the v3 to the v4? What are the main advantages? I am using a Pi Zero W and, it sounds like the v4 has been optimized for the Zero...
January 26, 2021 at 4:02 pm #16536jimbParticipantOK, nevermind... I noticed on a photo in another post that there are SCL and SDA pins on the board! My set up is powering the Pi Zero W through the 5v and gnd pins and my connector was covering the SDA and SCL pins. D'oh! Sorry for the pointless post.
May 14, 2020 at 12:08 am #15807jimbParticipantThank you!! I will try this out - I am sorry for not responding sooner. I appreciate your help very much... I am hoping that my order for 3 BerryGPS-IMUs will be delivered soon - our mutual postal services (Australian and Canadian) are taking their time!
May 2, 2020 at 1:26 pm #15785jimbParticipantThanks for the quick reply. I am attaching a photo of the current configuration showing the top view and the forward direction of movement. I am proposing to rotate the unit so that the right edge in the photo becomes the top (left edge goes down to be bottom) and the direction of movement is still from left to right. By this thinking, I believe the orientation is upside down to your figure and movement would be into the screen... does this make sense? The more I type the more I feel like a 2D creature π
Thanks again!

March 28, 2020 at 1:37 am #15698jimbParticipantThank you very much for your kind reply. It turns out that indeed, I have a V2 BerryGPS-IMU so, when I use the BMP280 code everything runs as expected. Thank you again for your help.
March 27, 2020 at 8:40 am #15692jimbParticipantHi johnmark, I was happy to see your post....
I am running your code from github with the BerryGPS-IMU but, I always get the message "Pressure sersor NULL!" followed by:
Temperature = 0.0 Pressure = 0.0Β Altitude =44330.00
Temperature = 0.0 Pressure = 0.0Β Altitude =44330.00
Temperature = 0.0 Pressure = 0.0Β Altitude =44330.00
....The GPS and IMU are both working as expected.
Do you have an pointers based on your experience?
Thank you!
March 22, 2020 at 12:38 am #15647jimbParticipantThanks Mark! That was what I hoped you would say π
March 3, 2020 at 10:19 am #15197jimbParticipantDid you try the calibration described in section 3 for the compass? I found that this made a pretty big impact.
